Since I was child I was interested in contributing to society in the area of health. When I graduate from high school I decided dentistry because in my country it’s very expensive, so not everyone can access it, to have a good pay never was a priority. After much thought, be a dentist mean, always work in a room and without being able to go out neither visit other places.
I finally decided to leave the idea studying dentistry to get into Journalism at the Universidad de Chile. WHY?
Journalism is certainly a versatile profession that allows you to work on different platforms. I want to travel, to see the world, to have many pictures of the adventures to remember later. Journalism is power, allows us to see different realities.
In the future I’d like to work in a magazine photojournalist or maybe be international journalist.
I like your vision of your future, I would like to travel around the world too, and maybe I would also like to be an international journalist.

ResponderBorrarHi Marco, i also wanted to study some with health when i was younger! I'm really glad of we studying journalism at the end. I hope journalism allow you to visit a lot of conutries and take thousands of photos.
ResponderBorrarThe right to health is a serious problem in Chile. Unfortunately, dental schools haven't done much about it. The union of dentists has only been concerned to protect their members.
